Layoffs

In 2009 Fish & Richardson closed its corporate practice and laid off 100 employees.[22] (Legal blog AbovetheLaw.com reported different layoff numbers, with the amount at 120, citing an internal communication which stated 35 attorneys and 85 staff were laid off).[23] Fish saw a revenue increase of 4.7% in 2009, and an increase in profits per partner of nearly 20%.
